Well, I knew what one was--in theory--but I had never SEEN one.

A friend of mine decorated her room for Halloween with lotsa little "ghosts" hanging from the ceiling. When I walked into the room and looked up, I said, "Oh, cute!"

She waited for the next level of reaction and then, not receiving it, clued me in on the missing subset of the facts of life.
