Kristofer sent me all of these mp3s from "The Smurfs Do Pop." They are some of the most disturbing assaults on my ears ever. But somehow, I can't stop listening to them. They are zombiesongs, and they can smell my spicy brains! Aieeee! When I was unpacking, I came across my copy of Stardust that K had Neil Gaiman autograph for me. What a sweetheart.

I was going to get my TB test this week, but Jennifer needs my car. Aah well, next week. No call this morning about my counteroffer at the job. No good news on the partial vacation pay front. No good sleep last night. I hate when I can't be everything to everybody. Bleh. And I have heartburn.

This music is totally disturbing. Must. Shut. Off. Oh, and last night I saw Pirates of the Caribbean (Did you hear about the new pirate movie? It's rated ARRRRR!). Holy crap, it was so good. Bootstrap's bootstraps! I thought I was going to pee my pants several times. As much as I loathe Johnny Depp, I sure do like a bunch of his movies. He makes a good butty, swishy pyrate. Missy says he's 40! Can you believe it?

Oh, you know who's cute? [livejournal.com profile] nikongirln70. Yes.

Yea, he turned forty just recently. I would say he doesn't "look it", but no one ever looks "their age" anyways. I like quotation marks.

Mmm, Neil Gaiman. I'm excited for this new movie he's writing, Mirror Mask. I read that it's going to be in the same vein as 80s fantasy movies. Woo! :D

Ok....a pirate walks into a bar. The bartender looks at him and says "Hey, you know you've got a steering wheel attached to the crotch of your pants?" The pirates says "Yarrrr, it's drivin' me nuts!"

80s fantasy movies like Labyrinth and Dark Crystal?

Yeah, and I mean, this is the guy who was in "21 JumpStreet" and was probably 26 and playing someone who looks 16. Like Ralph Macchio. Isn't he 65 by now?

I used to have a friend who would tell drunk people that Ralph Macchio was actually older than Pat Morita, but that Ralph looked really young and Pat looked really old. Hysterical.

HA HA HA!

So this pirate walks into a bar, and he has a steering wheel attached to his crotch. The bartender says, "Hey! Doesn't that thing bother you?" The pirate replies, "Arrrr! It's drivin' me nuts!"

Don't forget The Neverending Story.

And Ralph Macchio is actually only 41. :P

Me too! There's nothing like a healthy dose of teenage angst to make my angst seem pale in comparison. :)

Johnny Depp's best role is still "Nightmare on Elm Street". *evil giggle*

And as bad as your "The Smurfs Do Pop" mp3s may be, it's not the worst. A friend and I, back in my BGSU days, came up with "Bob Dylan Sings the Hits of Pink Floyd", and we'd walk around town singing Floyd songs in Dylan style. It was scary and overly geeky.

I actually like the book version of The Neverending Story better, but the movie is still beautiful.

41? Hot shit!

At least you're still teenaged. I long for my teenage angst days, baby.

Anything that involves both Bob dylan and Pink Floyd is pretty darned geeky anyway.

Johnny Depp just makes me giggle.

Ha ha ha ha! Pat Morita.

I love Johnny Depp. He is quite easily the most attractive man ever. Most Attractive Man Ever. Orlando Bloom is right up there, too. I'm afraid to see this movie outside of the privacy of my own home.

btw, I sent that referral back today. Dammit, it was like taking an essay test! But I made you sound great. I told them how well you relate to kids. You give them beer and feel them up and give them 'secrets' to keep from their parents so that they'll trust you. I bet they'll be calling you any day now!

You are hysterical! Good thing I already got the offer, though, because they needed two personal references and you were the third! Neener!

Don't forget the endless supply of "candy" I keep in my car!

I don't find Johnny Depp all that attractive. I have to admit I thought he was hot in Edward Scissorhands, but well, we all know how I like the androgoths.

Well, yeah, but you know how college kids are...Dylan and Floyd are like major staples in the music library for most college kids. :)

True.

Oh, I'm sure that there are still alot of kids now with Floyd in their collections, anyway. Maybe not so much Dylan, which is kinda sad, but I'm sure that there's alot of Floyd.
