I'm not sure that signing the petition will do anything more than give you warm fuzzies. I thought a petition had to have a real signature on it.

Yeah, I know. And since it doesn't even log addresses, it can't even send information to representatives.

I imagine what the HRC is doing, really, is compiling email addresses of people who are supporting the idea... and will then try to mobilize them later.
