judecorpWow - it was the absolute perfect weather for the pool. I had so much fun, got a little tan, and am that good kind of tired. I spent the afternoon throwing six-year-olds into the water, and playing "Shark." We got popcorn for a quarter, and I got to confuse people with my boy's haircut and my girl's bathing suit. The girls wanted me everywhere with them because they "wanted to spend time with me." So sweet. Good times.
I remember when I was 14 or so, and I would go to the beach or the lake or the pool, and I would be so mortified about how I looked in a bathing suit. I was so concerned about whether I looked "fat" or whether my legs were perfectly shaved or whether my swimsuit was "cool" enough. And then my mom or other adults would just walk around, regardless of their body types and in their old, nasty swimsuits, and I was like, "Oh my god, how can they just walk around like that? Someone might SEE them!"
I guess I'm an adult now.
