I called Alt Auto btw....they recreated the problem...they think it's heat related....Chris is out at the moment running and errand but she is supposed to call me back after 2 PM.....

I'd just be so hesitant to make an enormous purchase if this whole starter problem can be fixed - especially if you end up dumping more money into the car today.

They haven't said anything yet. I am hesitant to trust this car at all ever again, even if they swear on their mother that the problem is fixed. I don't know if they are going to charge me. If they get it running I *am* trading it in.

*sigh* While I really am reluctant to spend the additional cash for the new car....I want to be able to rely on it and not spend buckets full of additional money to fix random issues when I haven't even dealt with all the regular maintenance....

Yeah....it is a used car and you can't guarantee they won't have these strange problems....but the Kia warranty or the Hyundai warranty is what I am really looking at.....
