Jen and I went to yummy Chipotle for lunch (mmmmm) and then I was going to run the errands I had before going home (post office, library, bank). We were in Grandview, so I figured I would go to the Grandview branch of my bank, and then maybe hit the Grandview post office. As I was driving down Northwest Boulevard, I missed the turn onto First Avenue (to get to the bank) and the next street was Goodale Boulevard.

Well, the reason I was even going to the post office at all was to mail an envelope of pictures to A. (my ex). So there I was on the street where he works, and figured it was stupid to go to the post office when I could just drop them off. I went in, and he came out, and I gave him the photos, and then we were there making chit-chatty small talk. How's work? Fine. School's starting soon. Cool. How's the job hunt? Oh, swell. How're the cats? Pissing on everything. Whee. At the end of the conversation, he said, "You should come over for dinner sometime," so I gave him my number and told him to call me.

I went to the bank (check) and then to the mailbox to mail another bill (check). I decided to go into Big Gay Bear to get something to make Jennifer for dinner, since she's been having a blah day today and I wanted to give her a break. I think the whole thing left me a little flustered, because I bought all the fixings for meatless tacos. Tacos. Right after going to Chipotle.

Yeah, I'm just /that/ smooth.

I think I could, too, but I don't know if The Girl feels the same way. She's not that hot on Mexican food (pun intended), and she doesn't like Chipotle, so really went there for me.

How do you know the Big Bear is gay?

Not /every/ Big Bear, just the one near our apartment. It's pretty common in C-bus to refer to that particular store as the "Gay Bear."

It happens to be in the area heavily concentrated with gay men, and there also seems to be a lot of cruising going on. So, yeah. If you come to Columbus and ask someone (especially someone downtown or on campus) where the Gay Bear is, they'll point you to my neighborhood.

i was going to say something stupid like 26:1 (get it, letters of the alphabet?) but since not every letter has the same probability of beginning someone's name (like Q for instance) the math would be all wrong. So i didn't say it.

My lack of enthusiasm for Chipotle stems from having burritos every day for over a year in california....better burritos sometimes, worse burritos sometimes...burritos make me go blah and I am slowly getting over that feeling since I *do* like burritos..but I like to see your eyes light up for Chipotle;)

Tacos are good. I like crunchy tacos.....too bad Chipotle made them so bad when I got them there the last time....oh well....

He's very friendly though.. He gives you plenty of time to run away (and even has a lantern to aid you) so if you stay and fight, its your own fault if he slays you.

I don't think I could have Mexican every day, but I could certainly eat a lot of it. There are always good vegetarian options! Mmm, beans!

When I worked at OSU, I would go to the campus Chipotle at least once a week. Delicious, and cheap. YAY!
