Drive-In Movie Date!
Sep. 18th, 2003 11:26 amI am so excited! I have a real, honest-to-goodness date at the drive-in! It's time for craptastic food and making out in the backseat of the car! (For the record, I have been to a drive-in theatre tons of times, since there was one down the street from my childhood home, and I also went to one in Maine with
Jodie - but I have never done the making out.) As a fundraiser for HRC (I know, I know), they will be showing a double feature of Better Than Chocolate and The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls In Love, both of which I've seen too many times. BUT NEVER AT A DRIVE-IN! Let the window-steaming commence!
Saturday is going to be seriously fun. First, Jen and I are staffing the Exuberance exhibit for Kaleidoscope from 12 to 2. Then at 3 is the gallery opening for Adam Brouillette, my favorite local artist and newest stalkee (okay, not really), and then I get to get ready for my DRIVE-IN MOVIE DATE!

Date: 2003-09-18 08:33 am (UTC)The first movie I /remember/ seeing at the drive-in was Ferris Bueller's Day Off, though I was told I saw Star Wars there.
We would go to the Rustic Tri-View Drive-In (http://www.drive-ins.com/detail.php?code=rirust) on Route 146 in North Smithfield, RI.
WOOHOO!
