If I had a secret crush on you (and I'm not saying I don't) and I admitted it in a silly meme, what does that say about my commitment to keeping it secret?

Do I think this person should be making money from this whole poll? No. Do I feel sorry for anyone whose "secret" crush is revealed because of it? Not especially.

If you really want to keep something secret, don't tell anyone. Not me (because there's a good chance going to tell my wife), not your co-worker (the whole office will know before the day is out), and certainly not someone who threw together a poll for LiveJournal. If you can't keep your own secret, what makes you think anyone else can?

Wow, I think I'm the only person who isn't upset by this guy. I think it's totally hysterical that he's offering to sell the information. I think it's terribly clever, and I wish I had thought of it!

I think secret crushes are fun. I checked off SOOOOO many people when it came around, and I don't care if they buy the info. I'm pretty open about that crap anyway. :)

I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm upset by the guy. Granted, I think it's a little underhanded to sell the information he collected, but anyone who shared that information in the first place pretty much had it coming.
