judecorpThis morning I got paged by a client. Well, it wasn't my client, but the guy who had the pager before me (who no longer works with me) apparently gave the pager number out to clients, so this guy calls me. And, of course, I don't know him, don't know anything about his situation, and was in bed, so I babbled a lot. Finally I told him I would page the emergency on-call pager with his phone number (which I did). But I'm so nice that about 15 minutes later, I called him back to make sure someone had called him. La la la.
I ate far too much chinese food with A. and Alison. It's funny (in a scary sort of way) because she likes most of the same things I like (except women, as far as I know), and hates most of the things he likes. All I could think was, "Dude, you didn't learn last time?" because she was talking smack about sci-fi and stuff and it was cracking me up. She's really funny, and she likes blue box macaroni and cheese. The best part, though, was when we were talking food and she was agreeing with Jen, and made some comment like, "We should switch," and I was like, "No way, man, that's mine." I think it's really amusing that he seems to have a "type," since the last girl he dated seriously before me was /also/ a lot like me, and she and I got along swimmingly. So I bet that Lynn, Alison and I could totally have a girls' night. HA!
It is absolutely gorgeous outside, and here we are inside on the Intarweb. I love travelling, but I /loathe/ making travel plans. Oy.
I think I'm going to cave and cut the hair.
