- I woke up before the alarm
+ Which means I got to shut it off so it didn't wake Jennifer
+ Got to work on time
+ Coworker Sarah got me Starbucks!
- Realized I forgot my wallet at home
- Had to go back and get it
+ Went to Chee-pote-lay for lunch with FCCS buddies
+ Got juicy gossip
- Ear is still ringing a lot
+/- Called doctor
- She didn't even call me back!!
+ Made donation as gift to aunt and uncle
+ Went to home visit
- Stayed later than I wanted to
+ Got lots done at home

Also on the plus side, we got our auto insurance policy in the mail today, so I got to see whether or not they treated us like a nice, married couple. We each got "multiple policy" discounts, which I originally thought was an additional family discount (most insurance companies have a "multiple car" discount) but later realized just reflects my same old discount from also having renter's insurance through the agency. Although I think the discount is increased because Jennifer's car now counts as another policy. Or something. She also got a "new car" discount and some other stuff, and I continue to get a FATTY FAT discount called "premier plus" which means I have really good credit. I also get the "good driver" rate or some crap like that. Jen's accident last year kind of fux0rs that up for her.

Regardless, the insurance on my car is now even lower than the low it was before, and Jen's part is significantly lower than any other place she called. Actually, the cost of our entire policy /combined/ is lower than what she is currently paying just for her at her insurance company. So that is a BIG PLUS!

But the best part are the new insurance cards that have both of our names on them. SAPTASTIC!

Oh, and smoochie and I are going to get our holiday tree tonight. WAHOO! Piney goodness!!

Yeah, I'm a big sappy sap. Just like the tree we're going to get. Sap all around!

That discount-for-good-credit thing really cuts my insurance bill way down. It's like a $200 discount per year.

RAWK!

Actually, I don't know if you're technically allowed to get rock 'n roll about insurance. I kinda doubt it to tell the truth.

But still.... RAWK!

Hey, I am living and working in a place called Pineville. Which means I could send you whatever size tree you want. Transecting through the woods, I cut down pinetrees that are in my path all the live long day. I will tell you a secret. Sometimes I like it. Anyway, happy tree shopping.

Actually, I went with your suggestion and sent the cashola to The Home for Little Wanderers... mostly because they actually wanted to hire me way back when. :)

Why don't you send me yourself instead? You can sit on top of the tree we already have!

I won't say they're /totally/ open-minded (it's not like we got the reduced rate for married people, after all), but it's a start! Especially since when I called the first time, the woman who took my call told me I couldn't add my "friend" (her word, of course, not mine) to my policy because we're "not related."

They can suck it.

Really? Have you seen a doctor about this? Is there any hope of it letting up? What caused it?

I will now ask a million questions.

I saw all kinds of doctors, ran up an extensive debt to various medical professionals, even had an MRI (that thing is loud). And in the end nobody had any idea what caused it, or why it was happening. In the end I got tired of paying the big dollars for shrugs and confused looks. I've just lived with it since then.. Amazingly you do get "used" to it. Though I'd be happy to wake up one day and have it stop. I really thought I was going insane at first because it shatters your concentration. You have to learn to think around the sound. I have a feeling yours is probably more related to being sick though, so I'm not trying to preach doom and gloom.

Well I do not know how angellic I could look with the top of a pinetree stuck in my backside. But I sense soon I will have my new car, and as Willy Nelson says, be "on the road again".
