judecorp- I bought a pair of jeans today. This is the first pair of jeans I've bought in about 4 years. (I never wear jeans.) They look like jeans that

scottsimmons would wear. According to my Jennifer, my butt looks really good in them. I suppose that's good. I'm nervous, though, because they .just. fit, and I have a tendency to shrink clothes. And jeans shrink. (One of the reasons I never buy them.) But they're cute! And Jennifer gave me her Old Navy gift card, so they were $12. Yay! - We also went to the bank to add my name to her (our) checking account so we can start combining finances. I will still keep my checking account (it's really a glorified savings account now, I suppose, with check-writing privileges in case emergencies come up), but all of the bills will come out of this one. Now I suppose we have to crank out an actual budget.
- We also stopped at the post office to mail a present to ducks_with_lips. Unfortunately they only had HUGE boxes, so I tried to tape the stuff inside the box so it wouldn't bang around. Oops. Expect HUGE box soon.
- We were going to go away for Valentine's Day weekend but all of the cabins we were going to rent were already taken. So then we were going to stay here and save money. But we both have that Monday off. Maybe we should drive to Atlanta. Or Columbia to see my smurfbrother. Thoughts?
- Last night I applied for three jobs in San Francisco that I am absolutely not qualified for. HA! They are Project Director-type jobs for various non-profits, and pay like $50K. HA HA HA HA HA HA! I kill myself!
- We are still debating whether or not we're going to Jennifer's work party. They're pretty "attendence mandatory," but Jen's been sick and she's probably excused. I've decided that if we /do/ go (free food vs. being stared at), I'm going to dress girly. Woo-hah!
- I love Katzinger's, but my checkbook doesn't like it so much. And I saw Coworker Sarah's former stalker, so that was an enjoyable experience.
