Here comes Peter Cottontail!

Court today, courty courty court court. Hopefully I can get the GAL to agree with me that we can close the case. Because really, there's no freaking reason NOT to close the case, and he's just being a hard-ass. And this is a case that I inherited from Sarah, and she's been telling Mom that the case will close, so if it doesn't, I think she will seriously flip out. So here's hoping!

Busy day today - court, then home visit, then wolf down lunch, then two back to back home visits, then home.

Tonight is the Reacharounds reunion show (or whatever they're calling it). That should be a good time. I'm going to try to drag my FCCS buddy Daedra along, although she practically lives at her job and never gets to go anywhere. And somewhere in there we have to feed the wabbits. Wabbits!

Which reminds me: my current favorite commercial of all time is the Toys-R-Us Easter commercial with all of the rabbits singing "Here Comes Peter Cottontail." I LOVE IT! I have this sick fascination with it. Love love love love.

p.s. I love my elspazz0 and hope everything is okay. She got in a really terrible car accident last night and could have been dead. There are no words for how incredibly glad that is not the case. I would seriously lose my shit if anything ever happened to her.

Question about courty court court.

Do you ever get ripped a new one by a mean nasty ignorant judge? And if so how do you handle it? I need to know in case it happens to me again.

I have never been "ripped a new one," (not yet, anyway) but I have seen it happen to coworkers. I have been scolded by magistrates on several occasions, often for things outside of my control. The problem with my job is that some of the judges/magistrates don't really believe that Managed Care at FCCS is a good idea, so they don't take us as legit /and/ think we're idiots. That's great.

Basically, I kowtow to the magistrates and say, "Yes, your honor," a lot. And try to know my shit as well as I can before going in. Sometimes it happens, I screw up, we look bad. Whatever. I'm leaving in 2 months. ;)
