We had a yard sale. We sold a lot of stuff. We made about $320. laughingsalMissy, calledmaraDaina, and Coworker Sarah helped out. (Thanks!) We sold all of the big ticket items but the entertainment center (which someone took for free) and the washer/dryer (which we still have). We're working on our downstairs neighbor for the w/d. She also knows the new tenants moving into our apartment, so she's going to ask them, too. She is a cool chick who will be in Boston for the summer with her parents. HA! We can stalk her. Jen is a selling machine. She even managed to sell some pens at the yard sale. That girl is crazy and I just adore her.

I sold my car today, too. I sold it to a 20ish Indian girl who got her license a month ago. Riding home from the BMV with her in the driver's seat was pretty scary. It's been so long since I was learning to drive that I've forgotten what new drivers are like. She is very cute and I like her and I hope she likes the car. But whatever - I have her money and that's what matters! So we made out like bandits today.

After the yard sale I took a shower and we headed to crenaCarina and Scott's cookout. laserkittyNikki and thinksnowEric and 356dreamerSteve and maynaDianna and Bill and Maylie were there, and we also met these two friends of Carina and Scott (Mike and Jess). They were very cool people! Why oh why are we still meeting cool people when we're leaving??!?! Carina made us this cute little book. There are really no words to describe it. I am so full of love for her and her family that my heart hurts. I couldn't let the girls go, even when I was telling them about how they're coming to visit in July and we're having a sleepover.

I really and truly feel that there are only a couple of times in our lives when we're blessed with people that really become little parts of us. I'm so thankful that I've found that in Columbus with Carina. Thank you so much for the book, Carina - I think I'll look at it 1,000,000 times.

We're totally exhausted, and it's 10:30pm. We were exhausted at 9:30. I think I'm going to get ready for bed, and try to spend a little bit of time with my greatest love, because we haven't had enough of that in a long while. Goodnight, LiveJournal. I hope your Saturdays were filled with good friends, good food, sad goodbyes, and wads of $1 bills.
