An entire post of I-statements
Jun. 22nd, 2004 12:55 amI have always been a tomboy. I always want to be one. I used to play baseball, softball, volleyball, and soccer. I rowed on my college's crew team. I was the Stroke. I loved crew more than any other athletic activity. I know how to ice skate. I own Rollerblades that I rarely use. I was valedictorian of my high school class. I went to prep school with snooty rich kids. I went to Disney World with my grandparents twice. I am a Libra and proud of it. I love to drink gin and tonics in the summer time, especially with Bombay Sapphire gin and extra limes. I have an unholy love for my cats. I have a healthy sexual appetite. I am a clean freak. I was Most Likely To Succeed. I love So I Married An Axe Murderer. I have been an internet rock star since I was 17. I was a nerd in high school. I was the high scorer in the math league for two years. I was in the Science Olympiad and made a xylophone out of different sized mortars. I can say the alphabet backwards. I know lots of songs about grammar and geography because I was taught by nuns. I went to Catholic school for 13 years. I am a Unitarian Universalist. I love to hear the stories of transpeople. I want to schmooze for a living. I need a job. I won the spelling bee in grades 1 and 3. I was the catcher on my baseball and softball teams. I dislocated my jaw on a ground ball gone awry and my jaw has popped and crunched ever since. I want to start taking ASL again. I miss some people from Columbus. I want to meet Quinn, Derek, and Gloria. I am not wearing a bra right now. I had chinese food for dinner. I would give Jennifer the moon if she asked for it. I had a "boyfriend" in 11th grade who put his hands in my pants when I was falling asleep. I was once called a "worthless piece of shit" by my father. I had a first grade teacher who said I would never amount to anything. I sent her an invitation to my high school graduation. I got engaged in 1997 - I was 22. I got married in 1999. I left A. in 2001 - I was 25. I will tell anybody anything at any time. I am not ashamed of anything. I will answer any question you ask in comments. I had a peanut butter and banana sandwich for lunch today. I have a renewed respect for Cath. I want to ride my bike tomorrow. I really admire my grandparents. I need a job ASAP. I am going to stop writing now.
