It's true - we're a family full of dorks. There aren't enough photos of my father (which he made sure to point out to me on the phone tonight, oops), but my mother had had just enough to drink that I was able to get her to be crazy, like when she tied her shawl-thing around her head. HA!

And yes, my father has been pretty damned good about taking care of himself. He has quit smoking, and he has even stopped drinking coffee. (He used to drink coffee all day long.) He still drinks Coke and his eating habits aren't great, but he's doing really well. I'm so proud!
