Hiking in the Blue Hills

Wow, I'm pooped. Wiley and Jenn invited me to tag along with them and Hannah Banana from Indiana when they went hiking up in Blue Hills. I haven't been hiking in about 3 million years, and today was a good day to do it since My Jennifer is working and I don't think she likes hiking much. So yeah! I definitely feel like I got a little tiny bit of a workout!

I also feel like I'm dreadfully out of shape. I'm going to have to work on that. Blarg!

Now I must finish cleaning the house because my beloved Dr. Chris is coming to have a sleepover with us! YAY!

(Oh, and the cutest thing ever today was when Hannah was telling me that she got ice cream from the ice cream truck. I asked her what kind of ice cream she had and she replied with, "Dora flavor!")

That's a good question! I'm sure she gets a discount but I don't know how much!

(If it's anything like when she worked at Montblanc, not only did they get a discount, but they also had some special sales for employees where they could get stuff at really reduced rates. What did you have in mind?)

I was fighting the urge to ask about Jen's Levenger discount, but then I realized, hello, I'm po'. What would I buy from Levenger other than clearance stuff? (The major exception has been that I bought Levenger Press' Rare Words for my sister last Christmas.) My real question is: does she ever write about pens? I'd like to read porn anything about pens I'd otherwise never see beyond photos on the store website, like the Sailor music nibs.

What is 'Dora flavor'? I remember the "Ice Cream" episode of Dora the Explorer because Coney Island looked like a pile of Madonna's cone bras to me. (For those of you that haven't seen the episode, they travel past a lake of chocolate syrup and a strawberry mountain to an island dotted with upside down ice-cream cones to catch up with the ice cream truck and buy cones. It's incredibly funny when you're sleep-deprived.)

I'm pretty sure in this case Dora-flavor means that it was one of those good humor bars that was shaped like Dora.

I really like eating ice cream bars that look like characters. Eating Mickey Mouse's nose as a kid made me feel like a giant.

I like eating them, too! Last time I indulged in Ice Cream Man goodness (which was a couple of weeks ago - wow, I can't believe how many different choices they have now!), I got a Powerpuff Girl one, and I blissfully ate Bubbles's head!

1. Well yeah, we could probably only get the clearance stuff, too. But she told me that she gets a 25% discount, even online (as long as she has online orders shipped to our house). So if you ever see something that you fancy there, let us know!

2. I've never known her to actually /write/ about pens but I swear to dog she knows so much stuff about pens. I've never seen anyone like her! She can just go on and on and on about pens, and it cracks me up. So maybe I can convince her to write an entry about pens just for you, and you can fantastize or whatever. ;)

3. And as Jenn explained, the Ice Cream Trucks around here have a Dora on a stick as a novelty item, and while I believe the flavor is actually some sort of sherbet, I got a good chuckle out of asking, "Well, what does Dora taste like?"
