I billed for 8 hours or so today. Wow, doing group really DOES boost productivity! I got 5.something hours just from group (7 EI kids for 2.5 hours x some percentage) and I get to do it twice a week from now until next whenever! Since my productivity requirement is about 25 hours, having 10+ hours just for group is a really big help. Of course, now I'll need to continue building up a caseload so I can have the other 15 hours covered, right? Heh.

I did another assessment today, but at least the kid qualified. I've had soooo many kids not qualify (which is, like, unheard of) which means I do a big assessment, then a big write-up, all for nothing. No client. So yeah, at least I got one today.

Group is really REALLY hard on my knees. We spend so much time kneeling and crouching and sitting in little kid chairs so we can be at their level and all of that, and I have no cartilage in my knees left after years of being a catcher on a baseball and softball team. So I'm a hurtin' unit right about now.

Other than that, life is pretty boring today. Jen and I went to a free screening of Vanity Fair tonight, which was pretty good and definitely worth the price. Although I'm not thrilled with the Copley Place theatre and I missed Shani.

it's good you're starting to form your own clientele on the job :) but whoever heard of a lesbian girl who has trouble on her knees ;) hahaha

Our progress notes are pretty short, actually, which is nice. It's all stuff like, "Jeffy ate a good snack today. Jeffy used his words to ask for toys."
