3. The hills were alive with the sounds of music... We met at Philmont, and terrorized youths with our wacky, but angsty, sensibilities.

I did an "interests" search and you came up and your picture made me gasp and your entries made me cry with the knowledge that a queer-in-a-het-marriage wasn't the mark of death for the queer, and that there is life after whatever you choose to place after the word "after..."

I think that night, more than anything, is what my mind goes back to when the question of us being friends come up. Because while you were supportive, you were also good about letting me know I needed to get my head out of my ass, which was needed given that that weekend wasn't exactly my finest hour by any stretch of the imagination.
