judecorpI am so busy at work that I'm starting to forget things, like forgetting to call and confirm an appointment, forgetting the details of some of my new clients, forgetting to get little things done. I'm sure it's totally natural and understandable, and I'm sure I have unreasonably high standards, but I want to be perfect, dammit!
This evening I did an assessment on a 15-month-old, and he didn't qualify based on delay. I warped my brain trying to remember if he automatically qualified based on environmental factors, and I just couldn't remember. And I asked Mom if the Intake Worker had mentioned it to her, and she said no. So I told her that he didn't qualify but that I would double check and call her if I screwed up. And went back to work. And found that he /does/ qualify on environmental factors. So now I need to have /another/ late evening this week (she can only have appointments after 4:30pm) because I have to go back and make a service plan with her. Argh! I could have had it all taken care of tonight if I hadn't been so busy. Damned caseload. Damned holiday that has now smooshed my weekly schedule into four days instead of five.
