Keep those birthday wishes coming!
Oct. 14th, 2004 11:49 pmMy ex-husband called me this evening, to wish my a happy early birthday. That was interesting. We chatted for about 40 minutes and then I promptly told him that since it wasn't my birthday, he would have to call back on Sunday. HA! I rule.
He was all happy about the fact that he is a US citizen now and can therefore vote in the presidential election. About effing time, dude - I was trying to get you to do this stuff in like 1996. (Therefore, I rule again.) I then let him know that my father had decreed that the next time he goes to Canada, A. has to smuggle him in a Cuban cigar. (I don't even remember why my father decreed that, or when, but he did.) It was nice to catch up with him. He and his girlfriend are thinking about buying a house in Cbus so I was telling him all of the good places to look. He was talking about Olde Towne and I laughed and said, "Dude, you'd have to drive through downtown and you're afraid of downtown." He agreed. This gives me the giggles because downtown Columbus is like 4 one-way streets and 3 skyscrapers. Goob.
Also,
Jeffy sent Jen and I The Incredibly True Adventure of 2 Girls In Love on DVD for our birthday. YAY THANKS! And
crena said she mailed us a baby. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET A BABY!!
Tomorrow the plan is to come into work, have my 9:30 center visit, go to my 10:30 assessment, and go home. That's /if/ I can manage to clear out the paperwork on my desk by 10:30. That will be a stretch. Which means it won't happen. Hopefully I will get out by 3:00. I will never successfully work 40 hours. *dies*
p.s. Did you know that Dick Cheney's daughter is a lesbian? Really.
