jadefu's parents live in Northampton; we'll probably spend more of the day there than either of us is really comfortable with (because there's just no graceful way to avoid it), then maybe go to a cousin's for dessert and hang-out time (she lives a mile away and we haven't seen her since september). But in general, we'll be around all weekend, trying to make a dent in the gi-mongous pile of boxen still left over from moving.

As for an Elvismas party, well, that's been discussed, and it largely depends on whether we think we can have the place presentable in time. We'll see how things go next weekend. :)

Technically, I attend Thanksgiving and Christmas festivities, but I don't celebrate anything at all between October 29th and January 2nd. I hate the holidays.

But, feel free to send me a card of any variety, if you want to. A card that says Happy "I Have a Booger on My Finger" Day would be just fine.

Remember way back in the mid-eighties when I said I'd send you a couple of books for your birthday but I never did? Well, I still have those books. My copy of American Psycho magically re-appeared a month or so ago (I forgot I had loaned it to someone), and Me Talk Pretty One Day is sitting on the bookshelf in my office.

Would you still like these books? Have other, more better friends already given them to you? I swear on a stack of Captain America comics that I will send them to you this week if you are still interested.

Actually, I also celebrate Christmas. I celebrate it by being on-call 24 hours for work, and eating Chinese food for dinner.

I get the same benjamins you normally get for 24 hours on call. $2/hr for carrying the pager, 25/hr (not incl. driving) if and when called in.
