Brief Interlude of Catlove.
Nov. 16th, 2004 02:34 pmIt's great to work in the community you live in, because then if a client no-shows you, you can just pop in at home to give the cats some lovin'. And also to use your own bathroom.
The downside is that I absolutely do NOT want to go back out there for my next two home visits. I just want to sit here in my happy home. There are so many things around here that I could get done, like clean the kitchen counters, prepare something delicious for dinner, and scritch kitty bellies. Instead, I must head back out into the trenches and visit some kids.
*whine* Can it be 5:30 already?

Date: 2004-11-16 07:36 pm (UTC)i could never work that close to home. i went home one time for lunch and i about had a "call in" attack where i was thinking of a billion ways where i could be "sick" to not have to go back out there.
just think of all these hours you need to log. there's some positive reinforcement...

Date: 2004-11-17 12:31 pm (UTC)I almost wish I was able to build more down time into my schedule to catch up on paperwork and stuff. I think I'm going to "stay after" tonight and try to pound through some stuff... but that puts my day from 8:15am to about 6:30pm. Ugh.
