A bit of a crapper day
Dec. 8th, 2004 08:41 pmToday at lunch I learned that one of my kids was diagnosed with scarlet fever yesterday. I did a home visit at his house on Monday morning. Super contagious. I am crossing every appendage that I don't get sick. And also that I haven't infected half of the little kids around town.
This evening, one of my coworkers made a comment that made me think that she (and possibly others) thinks somewhat poorly of me. I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid, but my other coworker (who I totally trust and respect) seemed to think something was up, too. So I'm not sure if I should just let it roll off my back or totally confront her about it. I guess we'll see how I feel about it tomorrow. Right now I'm leaning more toward bringing it up.
Gosh, I hope I don't get a strep illness. It's really the last thing I need right now. Also, I need to find a place to get our brakes done, pronto. We don't really have any brake pads left.
