All in all, this is a pretty good day to be sick. It certainly sped up my long weekend, and hopefully my day of rest and recuperation will mean that I am in tip-top shape for the holiday. My supervisor delivered the holiday gifts to my families, and knows I'm a neurotic mess so called to tell me it had been done. (Phew!)

The weather is so mild outside that my house has stayed a consistent temperature even though the heat shuts off during the day. This has made for more comfortable sickness, which is nice. I'm having a burst of energy right now (and I'm bored as hell) so I washed dishes, ran the dishwasher, and made the bed. Everything's ready for Jen and I to do some more major baking tonight. (I will try not to poison all of the treats!) I just can't lay around anymore. Maybe I will take a shower and wash some of this sick grime off of my body, and then forage for more fluids. We're out of orange juice and I drank all the apple cider. Maybe I'll make a Carnation Instant Breakfast so I can have fluids /and/ a meal! (Ha, I'm funny.)
