Oh and hey, the law is different in Massachusetts. Here instead of living wills we get Medical Proxies, which go one better. Essentially it's a living will that ends with 'And for anything I haven't thought of, I name This Person as the one to make the call.' To be legal it has to be signed by you, your named medical proxy and a witness. No lawyer, no notary, no fuss, no muss.

I took an introductory medicine course a year ago, we all filled one out as homework. I have the template from that if you're interested.
