If you judged our lives by our grocery purchases or the contents of our refrigerator, you would think that all we eat is fruit and condiments. And that we drink a lot of beverages. I swear that we spent $75 at the grocery but we don't seem to have any food on the shelves, just some old Snack Packs and a couple of bags of potatoes. I guess it doesn't help that I went through the fridge with reckless abandon and pulled out all the tupperwares with food in them. I know they were all there pre-funeral so it was certainly time to go.
We sure do drink a lot of beverages, though. Between the soda and the seltzer and the regular milk and the soy milk and the orange juice and the apple juice and the beer and Carrie's old bottle of vodka, half of our fridge is comprised of some sort of beverage. Just thinking about it makes me thirsty. Good thing there's no shortage of options!
