Just call me Red Frazzle.
Aug. 17th, 2005 11:55 pmSeason 2 of Survivor has made it to the top of my Netflix queue, so I am a happy camper. (HA! Pun intended.) We watched three episodes in between dinner and chores and while I hate being glued to the television, I do love me some Survivor. Since I began my Survivor love at All-Stars (I think), I have quite a bit of catching up to do, and it's all new to me and so much fun! Even though I know who wins all of the seasons, it's still a good time. I wish I'd had the steam to watch the fourth episode because then I could send it back and get another! Alas, it's way late.
I'm having problems trying to figure out what my schedule is going to look like. I'm currently babysitting on Tuesday nights but in mid-September, one of the moms has a Tuesday commitment and they need another night. The problem is that I already volunteer on Monday nights and have a late home visit on Wednesday nights. Of course Thursday night this fall is Survivor so I can't babysit then! So I'm in a dilemma.
I thought originally that I would just move my Wednesday 5:30 visit to Tuesday and babysit on Wednesdays. But now my 4:30 visit on Tuesdays has come out of the woodwork and that would push my 5:30 visit to 5:45 or 6:00... and urgh, I don't really want to work that late. Especially on a Tuesday - 3 hours of playgroup and then 4 hours of back-to-back home visits (culminating in my 5:30 which is a pretty challenging visit) just might do me in.
I suppose I could move my volunteering to another night and babysit on Monday nights, but I don't know when I could volunteer... and then I would end up with FOUR late nights which is totally unacceptible to me. So I suppose the Killer Schedule is going to have to be attempted. Yuck.

Someone has asked me to help him with this cool political-type project and I SO want to do it but I'm so afraid of not having enough time. I hate obligations! I just want to do whatever I want! WHINE WHINE WHINE!

Date: 2005-08-18 10:21 pm (UTC)I'm sure I could tell them no, but I need the money. I try not to babysit on weekends, so one night a week with this super nice family is a pretty sweet deal. And they make me dinner.
