It's pretty sad when you get excited about $3.09 gas.

(For anyone who cares, it was the Lukoil on Tremont [or is it still Francis Street at that point?] in Mission Hill, near the JP Licks.)

no joke, Lisa and I were just driving home from the pru and I passed $3.09 gas and said, "I -really- want to get gas right now."

I am truly amused that we here in California have less expensive gas ($2.93/gallon) than much of the rest of the country. You have my sympathies. We've been getting gouged for a very long time and know exactly how painful it is.

Gas was $3.29/gal here for almost a week, but is now down to 3.19.

Gas in Salt Lake City is 2.95.

ugh.
