Ovulation Woes

So I've been doing my temps every morning, which is still pretty ridiculous because, as usual, they look like the rocky mountains. It doesn't help that I haven't gotten consistently good sleep and have had random wakings, but still - it looks like every other time I've tried to chart.
But now, because I had that possibly-EWCM for a couple of days (I couldn't decide if it was more that "rubber cement" looking stuff that you're supposed to call 'sticky' or if it was more streaky EWCM), Fertility Friend has decided that I had a thermal shift, even though there isn't much... shift... involved. But that's not the frustrating part, really. Heck, this cycle I don't even care if I ovulate or not - I just wanted to kind of see if I would. And if I did, cool!
But if I really did ovulate when I had that questionable EWCM, I'm now somewhere between 5 and 6 DPO. Which would mean that I would get my period sometime next week, assuming a normal-length luteal phase.
Which means I would start Clomid sometime around next weekend.
Which means I could potentially ovulate in New Orleans.
It's not totally likely, and this is all speculation, but still. Dear God, please don't screw with me, okay? I don't need to get pregnant in April or anything (but don't get me wrong, that would be nice), but I would like to at least have the CHANCE without having to go hump some Cajun dude.
