All fish have mercury, I definitely know that, but I also know that some are worse than others - especially fish that are higher up on the food chain like tilefish, swordfish, etc. I've never seen salmon on that list, only on the safer lists. I'll have to check back on that. I know that "they" say that canned tuna is ridiculous for the mercury... which is why I stopped giving my cats the tuna water a while back. But who knows?
I know that some people are "riskier" than others in terms of what they'll do/eat/whatever. I'm just not comfortable with a lot of that. PCOS and insulin resistance already gives me a significantly higher rate of miscarriage and stuff, and with all of the trouble we're going through just to TRY to get pregnant, I don't feel comfortable being too rebellious.
Although I /do/ enjoy soft cheese and sausages. Everyone has their limits.
