judecorpThe call from the doctor's office this morning said that BCBS (insurance) definitely is requiring updated CD3 bloodwork and an HSG before they will authorize payment for Follistim. So frustrating, because it means that once again we will NOT be inseminating next cycle... only this time we know it before the cycle even starts! Every time I think we're in a situation that can't get more frustrating (like when we had a cycle get cancelled on CD16), we seem to find one that is. I'm debating whether or not I should ask them if they would consider letting us do another Clomid cycle during our HSG cycle... although it seems like whenever I call them with stuff like that they act like I'm the goofiest person ever. I just DO NOT want to sit out another cycle and not be able to try AT ALL until freaking August. Are we EVER going to get to move out of this town?
I'm on vacation now until July 5th and holy crap am I excited. Jeff and Melis are coming out tomorrow night and then on Thursday I leave for a couple of days in Maine with Jodie. Good times. I am excited to not be at work, not go on home visits, not have to do much of anything. Oh, who am I kidding? I have a To Do list written up for tomorrow already.
I ate to the gills at dinner tonight: some raw cucumber to start, then kielbasa (turkey of course), pierogies, and baked beans. Oh I am stuffed. Then Jen cut up some fresh pineapple and I /still/ feel full. Bleh! We also watched the final episode (ever) of Queer as Folk. I don't really like the way it ended. But whatever. No more buttsex on my television!
It's humid as all get-out right now which is making the central air a tempting prospect, but it's supposed to only be in the 70s and raining tomorrow so maybe we will try to hold out for a day and see. Heck, we only used the central air for like 3 days last month and our bill went up about $20! (SCARY.)
I am ON VACATION. Oh yeah, oh yeah. Cross your fingers that the car passes inspection tomorrow. (We got the engine light problem fixed last Monday and they had to reset the light. If the light still comes up as "recently reset," we'll fail inspection. Argh.)
