Currently 94°, high of 96°
Jul. 17th, 2006 05:22 pmYou KNOW it's hot outside when you've had your central air on in your apartment all day (set on 75°) and you know it's been running continuously, yet the thermostat reads 77°. Sheesh, it's baking so much up on the third floor that the central air can't even keep up. That's sad.
Sadder still? Our next electric bill. But if it's 77° right now with /continuous/ air on, I can't imagine what it would have been without. Considering the amount of sun and the heat index today, I'm guessing triple digits and poached cats.

Date: 2006-07-17 10:02 pm (UTC)Our apartment wouldn't get so hot if it was a) not on the 3rd floor and b) not full of skylights that are wonderful when it is not so hot but on summer days turns the whole place into a greenhouse.
Still scared about the electric bill.
