Indigo Girls Concert

So it was amazing. They not only played "Devotion" which they don't always play and I love, but Amy belted out "Romeo and Juliet" which I don't think I've EVER heard on stage. So awesome. Also "Midnight Train to Georgia" which isn't unusual at all but it always lovely. WHOO-WHOO!

Also, they played about 4 songs from the album that will be coming out in September. They sounded good. :)

Also, the opening band (Three 5 Human?) was awesome as well, and there was a lot of hot duet action.

I gave [livejournal.com profile] juliann's voicemail a call when they were playing "Kid Fears" because I had no idea what they would be playing. But then they played "The Wood Song" and eventually "Ghost." They never really play "Ghost" anymore. If I'd known, I'd have waited and called Juli then... I know she loves a little "Ghost."

I tried to take a picture with my phone but it seems that the zoom isn't working, so it's not a great picture. Poot.

p.s. I would have asked Amy Ray to come over for some babymaking, but I guess she probably wouldn't be able to help.

Okay, all of you who are trying to steal Amy Ray from me need to back off before I successfully complete the babymaking. ;)

But yeah, they are so fun live because it's just one big sing-along. Although there were a lot more MEN there the other night than I had ever seen before. There was this dude next to me, probably in his 40s and with his wife... he knew "Closer to Fine" and kind of mouthed along but then proceeded to stare at me for most of the rest of the songs. Heh, I can't help it, I know them all. :)
