I think times are changing, and if Florence/Nton prices don't start dropping to meet the market then more people are going to migrate to more affordable places. I can't imagine that we'd be the only queers on the plains and if we are, I can't imagine it would be that way forever. We'd be living somewhere well into the 20teens and who the heck knows what things will be like then, you know?
Right now the most concerning thing to me is the sceptic system (I've never had one and don't know anything about them), not the "being the only queers in the neighborhood" or "bucking the system." Because really? Isn't that what activism's about anyway? :)
Yes, I would like to live in Florence ideally but I also don't want to live in a shoebox if I don't have to.
