Ultrasound update

So, the ultrasound.

Yes, there were two distinctly separate gestational sacs, one on top of the other in the uterus. Each had a yolk sac inside. There were no fetal poles visible, and no heartbeats to be seen. They are confident that it is just too soon and that they will indeed be there.

I go in for another ultrasound a week from Thursday. There will hopefully be little babies with heartbeats in them at that time.

Anything can still happen, but at this point, it looks like we may never get out of debt! :)

i ultrasounded myself at work when i was barely pregnant with annabelle and i didn't see anything but a sac either.

I am really trying to just be chill about everything. There's nothing I can do either way, so I am just going to keep enjoying being pregnant until someone tells me otherwise.

I can't wait to see the little heartbeat(s), though!

And, umm, Kristina? If having 2 freaks you out and you just popped out a 10.11 lb kid at home with no drugs...? *dies*

Well, Jen knew before I did because she was watching the u/s screen and I was laying on the table. But the tech was NOT talking at all, just saying things like, "I see a sac but don't see a fetus, blah blah blah, too early," but she didn't say anything about TWO until she turned the screen to face me!

I am still in shock! We were kind of giddy, though.
