Here are today's pictures:

7w1d

Today is technically 7w1d by ovulation. And there are real dudes in there with real heartbeats. That's exciting, but they're measuring small. Baby A is measuring 6w3d and Baby B is measuring 6w4d. I'm trying not to be concerned about that, or about the spotting I've had this morning.

My RE said goodbye to me today. Now I get no more news until the middle of December when I meet the new midwives.

Good times!

Whew. I've been waiting all morning for this update.

2 and more impt. you are going to see a midwife next. No more RE. It's real. It's really real, you're knocked up.

That is so exciting!

Which midwife service are you using? Will you be delivering at Cooley Dick in NoHo? I hear Holyoke has a surprisingly good maternity floor as well... or perhaps you're going non-hospital altogether?

Don't worry about being 2 or 3 days off based on ovulation. If you let every little thing eat at you, you'll lose your mind by the time the first trimester is over. And a little spotting is really common in the first trimester, more than you'd think.

I hate that the house stuff is so stressful for you in a time that should be more wonderful and snuggly for you before you start puking a lot.

And I'm telling you now when you start puking ask for Zofran. it's a miracle.

Yes, spotting is common. My best friend didn't spot at all with the two miscarrages, but the third time when she did have spotting, it turned into a beautiful baby boy.

There are two babies in there! yyaaaaaaaay!

YEA!!!!!! I've been waiting for this update as well.
Don't worry about them measuring behind. My baby measured behind for a while and now she's right on track. In fact, the doctor said it's common to be off when you're early in the game. I think it all depends on when they implanted etc...

Oh, and about the spotting. I had it all the way until 10 weeks. In fact, I had a "bleeding" episode at 9 weeks and thought it was all over with. When you use fertility drugs your lining is "juiced up" as my OB put it and you will have pockets of fluid in there that will work themselves out through spotting.

I went with Pioneer Women's Health in Greenfield at the recommendation of some friends of friends. They deliver in a small hospital up Greenfield way, which seems a little nicer to me than one of the big hospitals.

(I am way too chicken to do non-hospital, esp with twins.)

I am less worried about the measuring (esp since they are measuring together) than I am about the spotting. And I know lots of people have spotting, but it doesn't make it any less scary, moreso because this is my first time spotting. Yuck. I hate spotting.

And yes, it DOES suck that right now it's all about house and not about pampering ME! :)

You know, it doesn't matter how many people spot and are fine or whatever, it's still scary.

I hate that.

I know lots of people spot, but it is still scary. I just want it to go away, dang it!

I am kind of excited about two babies but mostly freaked out.
