judecorpI have a plan! A plan for the kitchen! Oh thank god, because it doesn't seem as overwhelming when you have a PLAN.
I have now visualized where everything will go in the cabinets. It is not an exact plan, but it means I am not just staring at boxes thinking, "Oh, god." I know where the spices and condiments will go. I know where the dishes will go. I know where the food will go. I know where the pots and pans will go. Oh, glorious day! It helps tremendously that Jen assembled our new kitchen furniture last night so that I have all of this more manageable counter and shelf space.
I know the plan will change as more things get unpacked and we stock up on more food, but hey, it's nice to have a plan. Now if our crappy refrigerator mysteriously was replaced by a new one that didn't suck, that would be the awesomest ever.
Does Santa Claus bring refrigerators? Because there's no way we can go BUY one since we have other things that are essential to buy and umm, we kind of have two kids coming.

p.s. On the UMASS slacktastic part time job front, two of the four applicants have already not shown up for their interviews. (Since I missed the application window, I am not technically eligible for this job unless all of the candidates don't work out.) Backdooring my way into this job might be easier than I thought!
