Every day is like a holiday.

Oh my gosh, the past several days have been like Christmas! It is so bizarre to come home to packages on the stoop every day. (It is also so bizarre to have moved from Dorchester to a town where a shipping person can apparently leave things like a brand new stroller in a box on someone's front steps (we don't even have a porch) in plain view without it disappearing. But I digress.)
I drove into the driveway with my eyes on the front steps because I wanted to check if the Freecyclers had picked up our unwanted stuff. (They did.) Instead I saw more boxes!
Marian (
obviouspseudo) sent us the Pack 'n Play that matches the stroller that matches the car seat. WOW! Holy generous!
And Emmy (
cappucinogrrl) sent us some cloth prefolds (that we're planning to use for burp cloths and changing pads) and a waterproof car seat liner. Thanks, Emmy, they will be put to good use!
I am floored by the overwhelming generosity of our friends far and near. Some of you I haven't seen in ages and ages (gosh, Marian, when DID I see you last? I feel like I was a teenager.), some of you I've seen more recently, and one of you I've never even seen!
I am speechless. Truly.
