Mystic is my favorite place on earth. The Mystic Seaport (take the SS Sabino ride through the port) and Olde Mystick Village (which is where I gave Mark his engagement ring). Mystic Pizza is overrated, but the ice cream shop next to the bridge is amazing.
I like the galleries down there.
Mystic is one of the very first places Mark and I went to as a couple (he lived in Groton). It brings back so many memories to read your post.
I'm sorry it was rainy. Next time you lovelies go down there, pop over to Groton and go to Paul's Pasta on the Thames street. Sit on the balcony. Drink wine and have the lobster ravioli with alfredo.
