Oh my god, that would have freaked me out! That's almost as scary as when I see people smoking WHILE ON AN OXYGEN TANK! (Yikes, I move far away from them!)
My mom was a big chain smoker when she had my brother and me. She told me that the first thing she said when she recovered from labor and delivery (they gave her some kind of knock-out gas, so when she woke up they would tell her if it was a boy or girl) with me, they told her I was a girl and was healthy and she said, "Can I go have a cigarette now?"
