So it's 3:30. I actually tried to be a good do-bee around 12am and get some rest. Except, umm, I can't sleep.

At all.

Whenever I think I can get some sleep, I get some pain and then... yep, can't sleep again.

Jen is totally snoring away in there and part of me is envious and part of me just wants to smack her. ;) I think I'm going to try one of those contraction counters or something to pass some time.

It's just so frustrating because I /want/ to go to sleep but I /can't/. ARGH!

If your water broke, get you to your birth center! I'm sure you must be on your way (or are you doing a home birth?). Once your water breaks you should be having your baby within 24 hours, and they may need to induce if things aren't progressing quickly.

I can't wait for you to meet your baby girl.

My midwife always said make sure you put gas in the car on SUnday, because Monday is always a busy birth day. My son was born on a Monday morning...getting ready for the whole "work week" and everything I guess. Yay for you!!!! Congratulations!!!!

August arrived at 1:15 pm today, coming in at 6lbs, 11 oz., and 19 inches tall.

All three of them are tired, but fine. We should expect details and photos once the family is home.
