Dear Colorado Rockies:

Are you really the BEST the National League has to offer? Is the National League really that bad?

I'm serious, though! I mean, this was the WORLD SERIES. It should not be a sweep, you know? I'd like to think the teams are evenly matched. But it doesn't seem to be that way, and I don't know why.

I know the Sox are awesome, but do AL teams win the WS more often than NL teams? Does anyone know?

I have no clue about your question, but the Rockies were pitiful. It's cool that we swept a second series, but at the same time I love when it's a high stress game or series. I would have loved for the series to have gone 7 games! It's so much more fun when you don't know who is going to win!

My heart can't handle 7 games, but I could have done 5 or 6!

I don't have time to do the legwork (I'm at work), but here...

Actually, I finally did do a little legwork...

Since 1903, the AL is 61-42, with two cancellations.
Since 1988, the AL is 12-7, with one cancellation.
