Because we never really know each other as well as we think, in response to this post I'd like you to ask a question. Anything about which you are curious, anything you feel you ought to know about me. Silly, serious, personal, fannish. Ask away. Then copy this to your own journal, and see what people don't know about you.

Date: 2008-01-15 02:34 am (UTC)No because we just got another freaking foot of snow... and because a lot of interpersonal things didn't really happen here the way I thought they would/wanted them to.

Date: 2008-01-15 02:04 pm (UTC)Umm... umm... I don't really care at all. Like not even a little bit. It matters zero to me. I just hope she finds a person (or two) that treats her well and loves her as much as she deserves to be loved.

Date: 2008-01-15 01:58 pm (UTC)I have known Jen since 1995. We were both involved in the same online community and it would have frequent parties in random places. A lot of those places were on the East Coast and I went to most of them. In 1995, Jen went to one at a friend's house in MA and we became friends. We have been friends ever since, although she did sort of lose track of everyone for a while when she was in grad school in CA.
After A. and I got divorced, I started seeing
She started wooing me hardcore after that and we decided to travel together to a New Year's party in Delaware (internet peeps) and after a lot of dramarama, proceeded to do a lot of making out and have been together ever since.
We are married (thank you, Massachusetts) and were married on May 13, 2005 in Boston City Hall on a random afternoon when I took a half-day off work.

Re: Question
Date: 2008-01-15 04:19 pm (UTC)being able to take a shower when I want to
eating when I am hungry
getting a full night's sleep
driving without worrying about a baby in the back
However, I wouldn't trade any of it for a second. Ever.

Date: 2008-01-15 05:22 pm (UTC)What has been the best change in your life since Gus was born? What about the worst?
no subject
Date: 2008-01-16 01:38 am (UTC)The worst change is how much Jen and I have struggled as a couple. Between the lack of sleep, the changes in roles, the stresses of different medical issues with the baby, the lack of time for intimacy, etc.... well, it hasn't been pretty most of the time.

Date: 2008-01-16 01:47 am (UTC)We started with prefolds and covers when she was a smaller baby. I loved them because they are so easy - you don't have to stuff them or fold them or put them together or whatever, just throw them in a pile and the covers don't need to be washed as much. It was awesome but they were prefolds/covers that we borrowed from friends and they were small. She grew out of them. *sniff*
Now we predominantly use bumGenius 2.0 one-size pocket diapers. They are microfiber and PUL and they hold a LOT of pee. Like, a lot a lot. We could easily use them overnight with a little bit of stuffing but I am paranoid of butt creams on my diapers. I love the bGs for ease of use, absorbency, etc. I just hate stuffing the stuffers back into the pockets after I wash them. But it's a small price to pay. I also, I'm not going to lie, don't love rinsing the poo out every day. ;) But I love using cloth!

Date: 2008-01-16 12:25 pm (UTC)If for whatever reason it doesn't work out for Jen to have a baby, I'd probably like to go back to my original plan of foster-to-adopting.
