Sick baby.
Sick baby with snuffly nose and cough.
Sick baby woke up with a low-grade fever.
Sick baby is a major, major drool factory.
Sick baby burped this morning and puked her 6am bottle on me.
Sick baby didn't get to go to swim therapy this morning.

...

Sick baby was up every 30 minutes crying from about 12:30am on. I gave up even trying to sleep after 2. Bring on naptime!

Hugs to you and Punk and J.

I won't give my opinion about whether she's sick or teething (or both), because um... how the heck do I know?

I hope Punk is able to nap and starts feeling a little better. :(

Heh. I have no idea, either. Time will tell - either a tooth will show or she'll get a runny nose. ;)

So far the nap looks promising. I wish I was a napper. I could use a nap.

Dude, are our kids psychically connected by the boobjuice, or something? Z (and the rest of us) have been getting rid of a cold for the past few weeks, but yesterday he turned it up a notch - fever, chest congestion, patheticness. We had a few middle-of-night nebulizing treatments and hours upon hours of flopping around on me trying to get comfortable. I felt so bad for him. But now I feel bad for me, cuz I'm at work and he's probably home napping!

And, yep, it could totally be teething for him, too. teething on top of a cold, or something bad like that. I mean, really, the kid's gotta get some more teeth eventually. He only has 2.

Here's hoping there's health and sleep in both our households tonight!

Punk wins. She has 2.5 teeth. But I really think the other top tooth is just DYING to come in.

I don't think she has a cold. She's congested (snuffly) but there is nothing in her nose and the cough seems more drool/reflux related. But I felt bad for her in the early morning when she was having a hard time breathing and therefore didn't want to sleep. Poor little punkin. Of course, she could get fantastically sick like tomorrow because we're going away soon. *sigh*

Her temp was 100.9 this morning, and after Tylenol is 100.3. I hate Tylenol.

Then again, maybe she does have some sort of illness. My stupid left tonsil is starting to make itself known...

Yawn. I hope everyone feels better soon!

2.5 teeth? Punk totally wins! We're just hoping he'll get, like 8 of 'em all at once. One crappy week and then, bam!, he can chew stuff. :)

I hope Punk isn't sick, cuz travelling while sick (or with a sick baby) does suck. All 3 of you should enjoy your vacation, dammit!

Tylenol is not our friend. The dye-free stuff make Z totally hyper-boy. We usually get acetominophen compounded without anything (for allergy-boy), but it's expensive and far away, so we tried the name brand stuff. BAD MOVE. Hyper, feeling better boy in the middle of the night is NO GOOD.

You can try adding Motrin. Supposedly better for teething, since it's an anti-inflammatory, as well. It did nothing for Z's fever last night, though.

Yeah, I have some Motrin but I try not to use it if the Tylenol will work. It seems gentler to use Tylenol. Maybe I'll stick a couple of teething tablets in her and see what happens. Although if my tonsil is a barometer, there is some sort of virus floating around. (I don't usually get sick, just the swollen tonsil. Argh.)

That sucks about the hyperactivity in the middle of the night. No fun. No fun at all.

Is it nighttime yet?

Aww. That really stinks. Hope you and Punk get a nap today and that she starts feeling better soon!

She is napping now. I hope it does the trick.

Also, I hope my stupid tonsil does not decide to swell to epic proportions right before we leave for a week with my in-laws.

Poor baby, either way.

We've had a sensitive morning, too. Must be something in the air.

Oh dear. Sounds like sick AND teething. Duncan's not sick and there's no snuffling or barfing here (touch wood), but otherwise we had a pretty similar night sleepwise.

Well, the puke was a one-time thing. I think she had a big burp that set off her gag reflex. And it's weird because her nose isn't running, just snuffly.

But she is a BEAST today. Argh!

who knows with these crazy children of ours? :)

how do you feel about the teething tabs? I don't think they do a darn thing.....and our friend, who is a pharmacist, was looking at them on easter ( at our house ) and said there is nothing in them that woudl do anything. Do they work for August?

We use the tablets but I honestly haven't noticed a difference when I use them. But hey, I'll try anything, you know?

I sure as hell hope it's teething because that's what Nicholas was doing earlier this week, poor Meatloaf. I just described Gus's symptoms and my husband said helpfully, "I think it's a spider. A giant spider." Thanks, there, spouse.

Anyway, is Gus sort of sucking her mouth inwards, too? That's what Monsieur Meatloaf was doing, along with drooling, weeping copious amounts, puking, and being off his feed.

you know what? It truly makes my heart ache that our babies are in this much pain. And we can only address it minimally. :(
