Sick Punkin

Punk puked again tonight, but at dinner while we were trying to feed her. She gagged and then started emptying her stomach. So sad.

She's riding the PediaLyte Express tonight. I hope she doesn't have a bad night. I hope whatever is bothering her is out of her system by morning. I hate this. :(

Poor little thing. :( It's the worst when little ones are sick. It's so sad because they can't really figure out what's going on or how long it's going to last. At least when we're sick as adults, we know that we'll eventually feel better.

She doesn't act sick at all, which is both good and frustrating. It's like she pukes, and then laughs. She must have been feeling something, though, because she was fussy when Jen was trying to feed her dinner which pretty much never happens.

My ped told us when Emma had the pukes nothing but clear liquids for 24 hours and then to try milk in small amounts or rice cereal (a little thicker) and go from there.

Hugs to you and Gus. I hate that feeling of not knowing what the night will bring in the sleep dept.

The nurse on call said we could try little bits of milk in the morning and see how it goes. She isn't acting sick at all and I worry that NOT feeding her will make her cranky. Although for breakfast I might try just feeding her cereal.

I think it's the mucus. She is fine and then will randomly start gagging and throwing up. She threw up at lunch yesterday eating peas. Usually she loves peas. Yet later for dinner I gave her fruit instead of a meat dinner and she ate the whole thing and wanted more!

When Ben had a virus he didn't act like he felt bad, kind of like you're describing Gus acting. We found out he had puked because we checked on him when he was asleep in his room and we found him in a pool of vomit. :( He perked up and was giggling in the bath, and he was totally fine by the next day. I hope Punk is too.

She is on and off. I think it's from her cold. She only wants to eat fruit and puffs and is not having as much milk as usual. Poor little peanut.
