I honestly don't know. My dad just always said I was allergic. Then again, he always liked to say I was allergic to what my brother was allergic to, so I thought I was allergic to eggs until I was 20 years old. Whoops!

However, I imagine if I was allergic it was probably a rash.

Allergies in general scare me. Well, aside from the seasonal/watery eyes type. Anything that could cause a rash/hives/closed throat freak me out!

Ooo, me too! She can join the world of the "what else can I take for this"!

By the way, make sure you write down or remember what the symptoms were - my mom can't remember the details, and now all the doctors keep asking me "what happened when you took penicillin?" and I just give them a blank stare...

Eh, it's okay. I'm allergic too. I'll take the blame. :)

I figured when I read your last post. I'm allergic and so is Nikki, so we let the docs know with Saff and they still tried to give her augmentin.

I'm allergic, too. There was no mention of an allergy with the donor so I figured I'd give it a shot. And she was on amoxicillin for 5 days before switching to augmentin and WHAM.

Aah well, no harm, no fowl. She looks AWFUL right now with the rash action but at least we know for sure, you know?

I don't know too many people that AREN'T allergic to PCN.
