I admit I was biased against him from the start because I don't particularly like White Boy Dreads. I don't entirely know why, because I can tolerate, and even like, some White Girl Dreads just fine. But he has creepy eyes! And bad hair! And is a total stoner! And he sounds like he's singing the same song over and over and over. And grrrrr, I just can't stand him.

you've captured all of the reasons that I hate him beautifully. He creeps me out--the eyes, definitely. He reminds me of some weird kid in a college dorm room that's high and playing his guitar all night, every night. Also, he's just NOT a good singer. At all.

I was not a Brooke fan but I would much rather see her than him. I really liked Carly. And I really like Syesha. But I guess I'd like to see David Cook win this time. I don't know why, I guess because Jordin won last year so I think it's time for a guy to win. And he's 7 years younger than me and looks 10 years older. That amuses me.

I wasn't much of a Brooke fan either, but at least she was genuine about being there. Jason just doesn't seem like he cares. Carly was my favorite and I'm really beginning to like Syesha, but I'm hoping it's David Cook that wins. I think he's been the most entertaining this season.

I think he likes to sing just fine, like a sing-along. I don't think he ever really intended to be a pop star or to be a big performer. I think he knows he's not like the others and just wants to have fun, which I admit is a little bit cute, but his goofy face and those god awful White Boy Dreads did me in from minute one. Yuck.

I hope I don't get publicly flogged for this, but Jason was my absolute favorite! I know that this was his last week and I am really bummed to see him go. I think his eyes are mesmerizing and his voice is very real and unigue. I voted over and over last night just to help his numbers look a smidge more dignified. Please don't hate me! Or, at least, just smile and nod :). I even told my wife that if I were to go "straight" for anyone, it would be Mr. Castro...

Awwh, Jason isn't that bad. I just don't see folky music as being too popular on American Idol. I actually liked his cute version of "Over the Rainbow" and I hate hate hate hate hate when people cover that song. For a while he was charming and his sweet smile was winning him votes, but he *did* seem to give up a bit starting with the Andrew Lloyd Webber week. At this point I couldn't figure out if Jason was happy to have just made it this far on his charm or if he was just too stoned to care. He definately should have gone before either Brooke or Carly, though. That was just craziness.

I want baby David to go next. His charm wore off a long time ago.

I love David Cook. I would probably actually buy a CD just of songs he sang on Idol. Whenever he announces what song he's going to sing I inwardly groan and expect the worst, but by the end of the song I'm ready to throw my bra on stage. I'm not quite sure what it is about him...

And I think Andrew Lloyd Webber should mentor every week. That dude is FUNNY.
