Day Two of contacts.

It took less than 15 minutes to get them in. You may think that's crazy but it IS progress.
So there.

I just have to open my eyes REEEEEEEEEEEEALLY wide to do it. Because they are small.
Think Clockwork Orange.
EEK!

It DOES take a while to get used to getting them in and out, I remember that. I was 15. Watching in a mirror did NOT help me at all, I know that's how they recommend doing it sometimes. I miss contacts.

It took hannah about a week to get excellent at putting them in and taking them out and to not have them bug her during the day.

They take getting used to!! Did the dr tell you to start out wearing them for a shorter time and increasing a bit each day?

Contacts ARE hard. I actually only wear them if I'm playing sports or if I'm at Disneyworld (the humidity keeps them feeling comfy) although I can see how contacts would be useful as a parent with a toddler who could start knocking your glasses off any day now.

Dude! I know what you mean. I tried them again last year and I've probably worn them about 20 times in a year. It takes me forever to get them in. I'd wear them more often if I could get them in quicker. That and they dry out in my eyes and turn all red. Not very cool

they take so long because they actually wear a little groove into your eye, that's why they will finally just slip in and not hurt or sting.

The first day I had contacts, it took me about 45 minutes to get them in each eye. The next day it was about 20 minutes. By the end of the first week or so, it was right in and right out.

I've been without for so long now, it might be a struggle the first time or two again.
