Jen Migraine

Jen is in the bedroom with a really bad migraine. It's bad enough that she wants to go to the ER. She doesn't want me to wake up the baby and take her (and honestly, I don't either, it sounds like a nightmare) so I started texting everyone I know who doesn't have kids and lives in the area. Morgan happened to be in a grocery store in Northampton and is on his way over. (I just need to store his cold groceries.) Andy also was nice enough to offer to take her or come and keep an eye on Punk but Morgan answered first.

This just sucks so bad. See also: not having any family in the area.

This is the second time in a year that she has had a headache so painful that she went to the ER. I am really concerned about this. She actually took two different kinds of migraine medicine tonight, even. Ugh. I am sick about this.

We know a lot of people here but most of them have babies too so it's not like I could have called and harassed them. I ended up finding a really dependable friend who is Way Too Nice (Morgan) but I hate to use him all the time, you know? He is so sweet, he texted me today to see how everyone was doing. <3

It's such a PITA when you need a babysitter and there is no family around! I mean, my aunt and uncle are an hour away and I guess in an emergency that could be possible, but in an emergency who can wait an hour?

I used to have to go to the ER at least once every three months for migraines....once I even lost my eye sight for about an hour and they did a spinal tap to make sure it wasn't something wrong with my brain.

Later I found out it was mainly because of the mold in the basement I was living in.

I've been having them again, violent ones that I have to go to the ER and get a shot. I feel so bad for Jen. Mine are brought on by high blood sugar.

Oh wow, mold really? That's crazy.

I want Jen to follow up with someone to find out about this migraine business. I know migraines happen but this is extreme and once was a fluke and twice is not. And Jen's primary care doc kind of sucks a lot.
