Baby No-Nap

We decided to skip the morning nap today in favor of a trip to Trader Joe, because we never get over there and Punk is addicted to the jarred pears there. Also, free balloons.

She was exhausted at lunch time and I thought she would nap no problem, so I put her in the crib and 45 minutes later she was still going to town in there. She had a nasty poo and eventually fell asleep at 1pm.

Good Lord, if this is a 30 minute nap, I may have to hurt someone.

I am of the opinion that 20-30 minute naps are even worse than no nap at all. So much work to get the kid to go down, a glimmer of false hope at some time to get stuff done, and WHAM! back up and at 'em again.
